Privacy policy

Cartelcity is provided by RdeV-Systems.

This policy covers the website cartelcity.app, the app you can install on your phone, and the Android app on Google Play. Same service, same data.

Account: email address, username and your password (stored securely, not readable by us). If you sign in with Google or Facebook, we keep the link needed for that login.

Game: your progress, items, messages, family, city and what happens in the game (such as crimes and fights), as needed to run the game.

Payments (only if you buy gold): we keep the order and whether payment succeeded. Card details go to our payment partner Stripe. We do not store your full card number.

Technical: data needed to keep you signed in, stop abuse and fix outages (such as short server logs).

To run your account and the game, provide support, and process purchases if you choose to buy.

To keep the service safe: protect logins, fight abuse and find problems.

To meet legal duties, for example payment records.

Sometimes we ask for separate consent. If you do not give it, we do not use that option.

We do not sell your data.

We use partners that run the service: hosting, database, and Stripe for purchases. If you sign in with Google or Facebook, their rules apply too.

If you install the app from Google Play, Google’s rules for the Play Store also apply. We do not pass your game account to Google beyond what the store or your phone needs by default.

We share data with authorities only when the law requires it.

Some partners may use servers outside Europe. When that happens we put proper agreements in place, as the law requires.

Account and game data: as long as your account exists.

If you ask for deletion, we delete or anonymise your data as soon as is reasonable. Sometimes we must keep something for a short time (backup, fraud, dispute or legal duty).

Technical logs: usually short, unless there is an incident.

Payment records: as long as the law requires.

We protect accounts with normal measures (secure password storage, secure connection).

No system is 100% safe. If you suspect a problem, email info@rdev-systems.nl.

You can ask what data we hold, ask for corrections, or ask for deletion. That follows from privacy law (GDPR).

To delete your account or ask a privacy question: email info@rdev-systems.nl with subject “Privacy / Account”, your username and the account email.

You can complain to a data protection authority. In the Netherlands: autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

Cartelcity is not meant for children under 16. You must be 16 or older to create an account.

If an account belongs to someone under 16, we may delete it.

We use cookies needed to sign in and keep the site safe.

If you choose “Remember me”, we may remember your email on this device.

If you install the app or use offline features, your phone or browser may store temporary files. We do not use that for ad profiling.
