Your level rank rises automatically about every 5 levels. Cash and bank do not matter here — only level.

Plastic-Bag VIP through Respectably Crooked come from normal play and depositing. Mattress Millionaire and above are prestige nicknames: family donations, long grinds, or a boss who empties the city. Bank only.
