Open the Bank
Deposit cash in the bank so other players can’t mug you for it. Withdraw only what you need for the shop, hospital, or family.

Mugging
From a certain level you can mug other players on the Players page. Only their cash is a target; bank money stays safe. Temporary mug protection can be bought at the bank.
